Reborn in the apocalyptic wasteland and cared for by a kind girl, the protagonist activates the Universal Evolution System. He tames a small rock tortoise, evolves it into a Level 1 Rock Armored Tortoise, recovers fully, gains beast-taming abilities, and sets out to help the girl with tax preparations.
Episode 2 - Mu Liang Evolves Turtle & Confronts Bandits
Mu Liang uses daily taming points to evolve his Rock Armor Turtle to Level 2. After stumbling on the Bloodbeard Bandits' operation, he summons the evolved beast to fight back, sparking a tense, life-or-death standoff that tests his survival skills.
Episode 3 - Camp Threat & Little Xuanwu Evolves
A scout warns Mu Liang their camp will soon be targeted by the ruthless Bloodbeard Bandits and urges him to escape. Mu Liang then converts a beast crystal into taming points, successfully evolving Little Xuanwu to level 3 with upgraded skills.
Episode 4 - Tame Chameleon, Flee Bloodbeard
Mu Liang tames and evolves a chameleon named Xiao Cai, unlocking a mimetic camouflage skill to blend into surroundings. After testing it with Mino, they detect Bloodbeard's arrival. Mu Liang plans to warn the chief, leave a note for his sister, and evacuate, ramping up thrilling suspense.
Episode 5 - Tribe Crisis: Hidden Betrayal
Facing a drying water source and the menacing threat of ruthless warlord Bloodbeard, a small tribe decides to seek refuge in the powerful Moon Pool Tribe. But a shadowy betrayal brews—one member plots to trick the entire tribe into Bloodbeard’s clutches to gain a high-ranking position, spiking the tension.
Episode 6 - Convert Beast Crystals, Evolve Xiao Cai
After deciding to help move goods, the protagonist discovers beast crystals, converts them into 1120 taming points, and uses part to evolve Xiao Cai the chameleon lizard to level 3. Now over 3 meters long, Xiao Cai can assist with hauling supplies. The protagonist also finds precious apocalypse seeds and looks forward to surprising Mino.
Episode 7 - The 'Beast' is Xiao Cai with Supplies
Panicked by a fierce 'beast' blocking their door, the group fears for Mu Liang's safety when he returns. To their shock, the creature is Mu Liang's grown companion Xiao Cai, which has brought looted supplies like dried meat and cloth. Mu Liang then assigns tasks to move the supplies at night, stirring up suspense.
Episode 8 - Escape Blood Bandits & Evolve Rock Turtle
The tribe plans to migrate to Yuetan at dawn to escape the Blood Bandits' slaughter. The protagonist makes a pinky promise with a long-eared rabbit girl to stick by her, and successfully evolves a Rock Armored Turtle using taming points, upgrading its skills.
Episode 9 - House Built & Group Targeted
The protagonist and Zhenyue use rock-controlling powers to build a classic-layout house, planning to add doors, furniture and a water tank later. He stumbles on a warehouse theft and realizes their group has been targeted, ramping up the story's tension.
Episode 10 - Betrayal Triggers Bloodbeard's Ambush
While migrating to Moon Pool, the group faces an ambush by Bloodbeard's 400-strong force, set up by a traitor in their ranks. The traitor plans to execute Minuo as a warning, and desperate calls for missing allies echo, sparking a tense, high-stakes showdown.
Episode 11 - Mu Liang Rescues Xiao Cai, Reveals Awakener Powers
Xiao Cai is trapped and facing brutal violence at the hands of Agu and his gang. Just when she thinks all hope is lost, Mu Liang steps forward to protect her, drawing mockery from the thugs who see him as a weak nobody. Episode 12 - Beast Attack & Plan to Raid Bloodbeard's Lair
The tribe is scattered by a sudden giant lizard attack. The protagonist holds back from eliminating foes to hide his Little Xuanwu, which has grown overnight with a sturdy stone house on its back. He decides to raid Bloodbeard's lair while the latter chases other tribespeople.
Episode 13 - Blood Bandit Hunt & Rainy Mishaps
On the trail of the Blood Bandits' hideout, the group prepares for a night strike. They debate acid rain's dangers—when one agrees to bathe, a mischievous back-scrub attempt sparks a furious outburst, only to be interrupted by a sudden spider scare.
Episode 14 - Mission Departure & Mysterious Encounter
After playful bickering with Mu Liang, the protagonist sets out with tamed pets Little Cai and Little Red for a bounty. A masked stranger proposes teaming up for crystal fish, shares key details of Bloodbeard's lair, then vanishes abruptly, leaving the protagonist determined not to be outmatched.
Episode 15 - Young Boss Seeks Supplies & Finds Beast Crystal
Young Boss Bloodblade attempts to cross a suspension bridge for water and berries, only to be stopped by guards obeying their boss’s strict order. He later discovers tameable plants and a high-energy beast crystal, converting it for massive taming points—just as someone detects his presence and demands he open the door.
Episode 16 - Exposed, Rush to Secure the Crystal Fish
After their location is exposed, the group acts urgently. They spend taming points to level up their chameleon lizard and red ghost spider, unlocking synced skills. Spotting the high-bounty Crystal Fish, they decide to take it home to tame later, while outsiders demand entry and seal the door.
Episode 17 - Chasing the Invisible Lizard Thief
After finding his father's years-long collections stolen, the young boss orders his crew to chase the thieves. He spots an invisible six-meter giant lizard carrying the stolen goods. When the mysterious rider tries to negotiate, the boss insists on seeing their true face despite the stranger's warning.
Episode 18 - Liyue Meets Mu Liang & Invites Him Home
Wandering bounty hunter Liyue encounters Mu Liang, who conceals his Void Demon-infected face under a hood. Unfazed by his condition, Liyue reveals her mutant eyes can see through camouflage. Mu Liang warns her of Bloodbeard's scent-tracking subordinate, and Liyue invites him to her home as thanks for the intel.
Episode 19 - Liyue & Mino Join the Mountain Home
Mu Liang, Xiao Cai and Xiao Hong welcome new arrivals Liyue and shy Mino to their hidden mountain home. They unload plentiful supplies like top-grade smoked meat, water and fresh fruits, and Liyue discovers rare tameable plants—the Angel's Wing and Starlight Tea Tree.
Episode 20 - Mu Liang Tames Angel's Wing, Faces Pursuit
As an Awakened, Mu Liang successfully tames the dying Angel's Wing, obtaining the Angel's Tear that can cure Hollow Ghost infection. When a girl infected for 5 years licks the tear, they soon notice the Bloodbeard Cavalry with scent mutants is catching up, forcing them to escape immediately.
