Leonard served as CFO for his friend Howard's company for 3 years on meager pay, trusting Howard's promises of shares and dividends. But Howard fires him for refusing to cook the books, replacing him with an unqualified relative. A year later, Leonard, now certified, arrests Howard for fraud at the company's bell-ringing ceremony.
