Cordelia was adopted as a child by the Shen family, an Oil Empire in a foreign country. Now an adult, she is tracked down by her birth family. Returning home with a billion in hand as a gift, she finds herself in a circus of absurdity—a bald and narcissistic so-called sister, an insufferably arrogant brother, and clueless parents. Taking pity on them, Cordelia decides to play along and have some "fun" before walking away for good.
