In the Pilgrim Realm, Ford, the Land Guardian, offers Great Sage a bowl of water and is condemned by Heaven’s Punishment, his spirit and form annihilated. He awakens back on Earth inside the ruined Land Guardian Shrine, gifted three hairs by the Great Sage to settle mortal karma. Through using them, he comprehends cause and effect, purifies his heart, and ultimately finds his truth.
